A popular urban legend just like Blood Mary, the Candyman is a spirit roaming for a kill on anyone who says “Candyman, come to me.” five times in front of the mirror.

A black slave whose name was Daniel had a wonderful gift of being a painter and was chosen by a white plantation owner to paint a portrait of his daughter. 

Daniel and the daughter of the white plantation owner had fallen in love, and when the father found out, he got a mob to chase Daniel out of town. 

When they had found Daniel, they had cut off his hand. (Giving his spirit form a hook for a hand.) They then poured honey over him and pushed him into a beehive. 

As Daniel was dying, he had cursed the men and vowed to come back for revenge. 

When you call for him, the ‘Candyman’, you’ll be calling a spirit with nothing but revenge and murder on his mind. 

So you just might regret the fifth time you call for him to come to you.
